Proxy Settings
USING HTTP PROXY SERVERS
Unlike web proxies, you must first configure your browser in order to use HTTP proxies.
FOR INTERNET EXPLORER:
Select the dropdown menu for Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections
If you are using dialup, click on your connection. Cable/DSL users click on "LAN Settings"
Check the box that says "Use a proxy server for your LAN"
Enter the IP address and port number of the proxy server that you want to try
In most cases, check the box that says "Bypass proxy server for local addresses"
Click OK
Try surfing... Check your IP online
FOR MOZILLA FIREFOX
Select the dropdown menu for Tools->Options->Advanced->Network->Connection->Settings
Check the box that says "Manual proxy configuration"
Enter the IP address and port number of the proxy server that you want to try
Check the box that says "Use this proxy server for all protocols"
In most cases, in the box that says "No proxy for", enter "localhost, 127.0.0.1"
Click OK
Try surfing... Check your IP online
